We are proud to announce the strengthening of our presence in Northern Europe through the acquisition of the German company Rostock Trans, a specialist operator in highly complex heavy and abnormal transport, particularly for onshore wind turbine components.

Following the recent entry of Mateco in 2024, this transaction represents a further clear signal of the direction Bracchii has taken: to grow in a structured way, integrate new capabilities, and build an increasingly solid, specialized European network that is close to major industrial customers.

With the addition of Rostock Trans, the Bracchii Group welcomes new people, skills, and highly valuable experience. Founder and CEO Laars Hennek will continue to play an active role within the Bracchii project, working alongside the Group’s management to develop the next phase of growth, ensuring operational continuity and alignment on shared strategic objectives.

Thanks to this integration, Bracchii further strengthens its presence in Northern Europe and significantly expands its operations in the German market, working ever more closely with leading European industrial players.

A new boost in the wind energy sector

Rostock Trans brings strong expertise in onshore wind energy logistics, a rapidly growing sector that is playing an increasingly central role in Europe’s energy transition.

The company is widely recognized for managing highly complex transports, blades, nacelles, and tower sections, and for operating a modern fleet of vehicles, internally engineered to ensure maximum safety and reliability even in the most challenging operations.

These capabilities integrate seamlessly with Bracchii’s experience in special and heavy transport, further strengthening the Group’s positioning in high-complexity logistics projects.

Growth and sustainability, together

Rostock Trans contributes to Bracchii’s sustainability journey with a fleet of approximately 100 vehicles, internally designed and already compatible with low-emission fuels such as HVO. Through continuous fleet renewal, logistics process optimization, and ongoing improvements in operational efficiency, the Group continues its concrete commitment to reducing environmental impact.
